Global Raffle Program to Save Coral Reefs
Coral reefs, including iconic locations like the Great Barrier Reef, the Belize Coral Reef, and the Florida Keys Reef, have long been in danger. Planet Ocean Underwater Hotels, in partnership with the UAE and other Caribbean nations is launching an on-going raffle program to generate more funding for coral reef restoration than any other initiative to date, uniting nations and organizations in a common mission to safeguard these vital ecosystems.
Tony Webb, Managing Director and Owner of Planet Ocean Underwater Hotels, emphasized, “We are inviting all nations attending COP28 Dubai 2023 to join our UAE and Caribbean Program, a solution that will save the world’s warm water coral reefs from extinction.”
Planet Ocean plans to unveil its new Caribbean website at the start of COP28 November 30, an event that brings together 140 nations, 12,000 dignitaries, and 5,000 journalists.
Unveiling the World’s First Movable Underwater Hotel in the Bahamas
Planet Ocean has also introduced the world to its US Patent Design #D736947 Underwater Hotel. The 100% self-contained, triple-redundancy systems offers a first-of-its-kind underwater experience for cruise ship passengers and crew. Concept drawings depict visitors descending 30 feet using a 20-person traction glass elevator that takes them on a tour of the underwater hotel, set against the backdrop of vibrant Bahamian marine life.
The wave of news continues for Planet Ocean with the company announcing that the Bahamas Minister of Tourism Office has officially received plans for the Planet Ocean crew to design an underwater docking terminal for three or four movable underwater hotels to dock in Nassau. According to Webb, The Nassau Cruise Ship Pier has a 365-foot walkway where he will dock the movable underwater hotels. For the first time in history the cruise ship passengers can easily access the movable underwater hotels from the pier, an opportunity no other cruise ship terminal in the world would offer. Anticipated completion for operations of the Bahamian underwater hotel is December of 2024.
A Chance to Win with Planet Ocean’s Global Raffles
As part of Planet Ocean’s commitment to inclusivity and global participation, the company is introducing a 50/50 global raffle program that offers patrons “grand” prizes to match the grandiosity of their world’s first experiences, all for a $25 contribution. These include:
● The chance to win an instant $15K
● The chance to win, with winners waiting approximately one year for a seven-night stay in the Bahamas, complete with American Airlines tickets, luxury resort accommodations, plus one night at Planet Ocean Underwater Hotel
The on-going global raffle program was designed as a testament to Planet Ocean’s dedication to making underwater luxury accessible to everyone.
Inspired by NASA
Planet Ocean’s inspiration actually began in 2000, when 13 years later, according to Webb, the program made space travel prohibitive for all but millionaires. As result, Webb created an investor program that pays investors 10% of their investment one year out using the Bahamas raffle funds while also funding global conservation efforts and allowing the large percentage of the global population who are middle class to participate through online chances or to an exclusive experience when taking cruises that dock at the Nassau Bahamas Cruise Ship Pier.
Investing in Global Coral Reef Preservation
To further their mission, Planet Ocean is furthering the pioneering Caribbean KING CRAB Farming as a solution to combat coral smothering algae. This Florida Keys Mote Marine Laboratory innovative approach is set to revolutionize the fight against coral reef degradation. With a $7 million program that can be replicated globally, Planet Ocean plans to fund grow labs in the Bahamas and beyond, all made possible by the 50/50 raffle program’s proceeds.
A Global Partnered Endeavor
Planet Ocean’s vision is clear – to preserve the world’s coral reefs, offer unparalleled underwater experiences, and drive global conservation efforts with the ongoing support program from the world’s first 50 states 50 nation marine conservation partnership.
